My Experience

I have focused my career in business development and international trade to help business create a profitable and more sustainable way to grow

I studied a MBA at Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management, Civil Engineer of Industry with a Diploma in Electric Engieering at Universidad Catolica de Chile, and Tax Planning at Universidad de Chile.

Now, at RetailPivot I work on developing a strong network of clients, suppliers, and partners in various industries such as Retail, Art, Logisitcs, Mining, Finances, and others.

Previously, while I was managing the business team of Jumbo.cl we outperform Cyber Monday competitors with a perfect planning and execution of our promotional strategy. I lead the migration of Jumbo’s ecommerce platform to VTEX platform, the organizational changes to create a digital transformation within the organization, and the creation of a collaborative work coordination between the marketing, content, pricing, sourcing and sales team.  

Before coming back to Chile, I worked at Walmart.com first within the supply chain team as a innovation manager and later as partner and channel development manager. At WMT I created an innovation methodology which I still use. This methodology helped creating the international program which opened the marketplace to international sellers. This new program created $3.1M USD of additional profits during the first years and millions of new offers in the site.

Additionally, I worked at ebay in the Global Expansion team leading the implementation of campaings that allowed ebay sell over 29% of items previously blocked to clients in Latin America.  

I was the CEO of Lollapalooza Chile start up organizing music festivals. I successfully raised a $3.4 M risk fund and organized the largest music festival in Chile, which attracted an audience of 75,000 people. My success of leading activities of a wide spectrum, from fund raising, marketing to government affairs, has empowered my network with high achievement professionals in the Chilean government and the American art community.

I also worked as Head of Finance at eShopex, an international firm based in Chile that has businesses across the world. My role required me to work with suppliers around the world, this has provided me with a multi-disciplinary network and honed my skills to bridge cultural differences which will allow me to build strong relationship clients around the world.

Finally, my professional degree combined with my work experience at P&G, ABCDIN, and LarrainVial has allowed me to develop a strong mathematical expertise and analytical capabilities. These tools have prepared me to handle the responsibilities of financial management, as well as project management, and any type of leadership role.
